Good afternoon from the UK.

We received a "rejection" of my husband's Birth Certificate on February 18, and resubmitted a new one on February 23.

I'm trying to gauge, after 2+ months of waiting, roughly what timelines we should be looking at. Has anyone else recently gone through this with NVC?

Currently NVC Processing timelines would put our case (if it is reviewed at the back of the queue) being reviewed by 12 May. Is there any hope that this will happen or are we looking at longer lead times?

Any guidance would be helpful. I did try and look at the Immigration Timelines but I didn't see anything around rejected re-review documents, thus why I started a thread.

Your husband is from the UK or from another country?

Did you submit the correct birth certificate to NVC February 23?

If so they should review the documents soon...

Currently as of May 2, 2022 they are reviewing documents from February 13, 2022.

When you receive an RFE at NVC you go to the back of the queue and have to wait another 10-15 weeks (depending on NVC review time frame).

A lot of people have had their cases delayed by several months at the NVC stage (the month NVC threads are very informative).

Thank you for replying!

My husband is from the UK, we both live in the UK, and ahve applied from the UK.

Yes, we've submitted the correct Birth Certificate on Feb 23 via the portal to the NVC.

So it does sound like the rough May 12 guidance (based on reviewing cases from Feb13) is the most realistic time frame.
