Hi, we recently received an email from the NVC saying that our case had been transferred to Poland. Is this the same as DQ? This is a I130/CR1 visa for my wife, Russian citizen. We are currently in Tbilisi and are trying to get the case transferred here, but I was curious about the experience of other members on the forum--how long after receiving your transfer message from NVC were you able to schedule your interviews?

We requested a transfer of the case from Russia to Warsaw on 10/21/2021. The case is for a family based F4 immigration. Our DQ was pre-Covid shut down, spring/summer of 2020 (I don't have the exact date). So we waited over a year before we found out that the case can be transferred to Poland.

- requested transfer on 10/21/21

- received response that case was transferred on 10/25/21; however, online the case was not updated

- followed up on 11/27/21 asking for WRW number since online it still showed Moscow.

- within days the online account got updated with the WRW number, showing Warsaw as our new location

- on 1/28/2022 received an interview notice, scheduled for 2/28/2022.

Hope it helps!
