Hi everyone,

I’m new to visa journey and I would first like to say the amount of knowledge I’ve gained from reading through everything is invaluable and I’m very appreciative.

I’m the petitioner and I’m fairly certain my consulate (Yerevan, Armenia) is high fraud so I need to extra careful. Furthermore my fiancé is a military officer here in Armenia and that in and of itself gives me anxiety thinking it could result in our case being delayed or denied. Any one have experience with this ?

Also, my current physical address is in Armenia and my mailing address is in the states. Do I fill out my current physical address in 9a or 11a?

when I download the I-129f PDF from USCIS, adobe does not allow 9a-9b to be filled out on the computer, and neither does pdf preview on my MacBook. That’s why I ask.

If you're currently both in Armenia have you considered going with the spousal visa? Spousal applications are stronger than fiance petitions and that could ease your anxiety.

Also, are you currently living in Armenia (do you have a visa) or are you just visiting/ on vacation?

If you current residence is Armenia write the Armenian address for 9a. (and write how long you've been living there)

For 11a, this is the address you lived at before you moved to your current address in Armenia.  (it could be Armenia, it could be in the States, it could be in another country)

You need to write down your residential addresses for the last 5 years (2017-2021). If you do not have enough space write the extra addresses on pg. 13.

Hi there , thank you so much for your response.

yes I am currently living in Armenia, I’ve been here since September 19th. I think anything over a month would be considered living, I’ll be back to the states in mid February

I haven’t really considered a CR-1 because Armenian weddings are traditionally large celebrations, and it would be difficult to prove a bonafide marriage without that. Covid is at level 4 travel advisory here and no one in my family would be able to attend.
