Hello everyone,

Back in early July, I filed a VAWA petition, concurrently with I-485 and i-765.  I have been out of status for a number of years and my husband is a US citizen (he never filed a marriage based petition for me, we no longer live together). I received a prima facie determination a month ago, however I am haven't heard anything regarding biometrics. I have recently lost my job (which was off the books). I am at the end of my rope, I cannot support myself and obviously getting an EAD/ job is my absolute priority.
1. Is it normal to get a prima facie before biometrics? Or is this something my pro bono lawyer could have forgotten to pass on? It is next to impossible to get ahold of him.  He never sent me a case receipt notice or the prima facie determination either. I only found out until I flooded him with emails/texts. How long did you guys wait for your biometrics appointment? Some websites mention 3-8 weeks since filing.
2. The case status on the USCIS website shows nothing except for the fact that the above mentioned applications were received in July. Nothing about prima facie or biometrics. Then again, I have read that only limited information is released when it comes to VAWA cases. If my lawyer had in fact received a biometrics appointment would it show up in the case status on the USCIS website?
3. How long did it take you to get your EAD after filing i-360,i-485 and i-765 at the same time? I am talking about applications filed within the past year. Obviously, the case is being handled by Vermont.

Would be grateful for any info. TY!
