Hello everyone,

I just want to ask your advise on what should we do.....we filled AOS last end of Feb, after my biometrics, my case was touched only once last April 9. I was just wondering why almost all cases was transferred immediately to a local service center and mine is not until now. Please see our timeline below:

2/23/07 - submitted AOS

3/13/07 - biometrics taken

3/14/07 - touched

4/09/07 - touched

I keep checking my status online but the message is still the same (please see below):

On February 23, 2007, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Please advise on what should we do.

Thanks in advance,

Ireland113

Perhaps you will receive an interview notice soon and you're waiting so long because there are no available appointments at your local office. You could make an infopass appointment if you want to try and find out what "step" your case is at right now.

There's nothing abnormal going on here. This is normal processing for a case that hasn't been transferred to CSC.

Relax and check the processing times for your District Office. You'll likely find you are well within them. Once you are 30 days outside the processing time, you can Infopass if you are concerned about the case file being lost.

Your timeline looks very normal, I wouldn't worry, you'll probably know soon wether or not your getting an interview/transfered.
