USPS note

Dear Friends,

We sent FRE on July 5th, I checked the USPS website and it said:

"We attempted to deliver your item at 1:13 PM on July 7, 2007 in LEES SUMMIT, MO 64064 and a notice was left. It can be redelivered or picked up at the Post Office. If the item is unclaimed, it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later."

Please someone explain what this means?

Hi,

I had the same message last weekend, just means there wasnt anyone there to sign for it and USPS left them a notice stating they tried to deliver it. It will be delivered on Monday, usually in the Afternoon, if you wait till around 5pm then check the tracking number, the USPS website will be updated by then, as you can see from my signature as to when my RFE was signed for.
