Police certificate from Nigeria during Corona pandemic

Police certificate is needed and applicant is no more residing in Nigeria. Does anyone here know how to get this police certificate from Nigeria without having to travel there right now (Corona wont make this any feasible)?

I would first check to see if the Nigeria high commission in the applicants place of residence will accept application for a police certificate. If they do, then you just have to submit the required documents to the high commission. Several high commissions do this for their citizens and foreign nationals who have previously resided in the country.

 

Another way is to see if the applicant still has friends in the Nigeria. For some countries, you can send the necessary documents to the friend, and the friend will submit the documents on the applicants behalf, pick up the report when ready and send it to the applicant by courier or other means. You got to check if the country police department allows this.

Thanks for your reply. There is no high commission in applicant's place of residence. I was told that the police in the country of present residency can. So will have to check from there. Thanks
