Is SLEC letting the visa applicants hand carry the results to the USEM?

Hi VJ,

 

Does the Visa applicant now just hand carry their result and bring it with them to the USEM? And is it ok to get the medical than a week before the interview? (I know it is 2 weeks recommended but my son is having problem booking hotel in  Manila. They are requiring swab test which will take a good 3 days form that 2 weeks. We do not live in Manila but in the province).

As far as I know, no you don’t hand carry the results to USEM. At least me didn’t do this. Also try city garden suites hotel in ermita. Write to them and tell them you have a medical exam. A month ago they had a card you filled out on arrival and medical exam was one exemption that allowed you to stay at the hotel. I know certain parts of Manila are going back in lockdown so the rules may have changed but try them if you haven’t already. We used that hotel in august 2020 for the medical as well as our departure from the Philippines in February 2021. Swab tests for the PAL flight they also let us stay there.
