Hi! I've looked through other posts on this, and it's clear as mud.

I am a U.S. citizen and file every year though I lived overseas until this year. My spouse who is doing the AOS, has been a non-resident alien and never worked in the U.S., so he is not even on my tax return. I am his household member. Should I be ticking "no" and explaining why he was not required to file and then "yes' for me? Or should I be saying yes for him because his household member did file. And do I need to put the total income in the box for both of us and for each child, also ticking yes for each child?

Thank you!
