Hello, I am not sure where to put this. My soon to be husband is a Japanese national. He is coming to Dallas, where I live currently, and wants to marry while here. However, we plan to live in Japan. We have a few questions and was wondering if anyone has ever done something similar and what the process is?  Would this marriage in U.S. recognized in Japan? If my last name is changed to his in U.S. - it should apply to Japan as well? 

 

Any advice, tips and help would be appreciated.
