hi ,

 

i am filling i-485 form  and i need help of filling this form.

 

(1) what should be answer here?

 

my current employer has applied I-140 and its approved(under eb-2), now he is applying for i-140 and i-485 (under eb-3).also my sister is  a US citizen and she applied via I-130 form.i just have receipt fir I-130 

and haven't heard any progress about it since so many years.

(2) same explanation as above , what should be answer here?

1) Only write the receipt number of the petition that the I-485 is based on. Since you are filing based on the EB3, and it is a concurrent filing, there is no receipt number yet, so you should just write "concurrently filed".

2) The immigrant visa process happens AFTER a petition is approved and the priority date is current. It involves an appointment at a consulate to have an immigrant visa issued into your passport. If you don't remember having done this, then you probably didn't do it. The answer should be "no".

3) The answer is "no". All employment-based immigrants are subject to the public charge ground of inadmissibility. You must submit form I-944.
