Initially when I submitted (Jan 17, 2020), I was sent to Texas. Then when the processing time for that reached, I didn't get any email. So I called USCIS and they said I got moved to Nebraska. Then I called again recently and now they are saying I got moved to California. Is there a reason they keep changing me and pushing the date back further? Also, the official processing time for California is still in July 2019, is that true?

@TeenaAntony Did you file your I-130 online? Also what category is your I-130 for?

On July 29, we filed two I-130's online for F2A preference category- they were first assigned in California Service center. The case was later than transferred to Vermont a few weeks later. So two service center changes within a span of less than 2 months! Since online filings are completely digital and no-touch, I was told that the some online cases are sent to one service center for pre-processing before being transferred to the service center for final adjudication.

Now for our cases, we just got case status update that both I-130's were approved by VSC September 28 yesterday- this is an astounding 59 days from online filing date (same date as priority date). Now bear in mind that a 59 day approval for an I-130 is definitely very, very rare and is most certainly an aberration, especially for VSC. We had requested 3 different expedites- one directly with CSC the day we online filed July 29, one thru our congressman's office with VSC July 30, and one directly with VSC on August 26 but all 3 expedites were DENIED.  It is most likely something happened between those 3 expedites that created this aberration in processing time.

Please don't get your hopes up for a 60 day adjudicating decision. The norm is always between 6 months to 2 years and is seen reflected on USCIS time calculator.
