Administrative Processing

On October 2nd, my K1 visa application was denied due to incorrect police certificates. (I had one for border crossing, not immigration based on Privacy Act) they still showed that I had no criminal record or anything like that. I was given a 221 G refusal letter, provide the correct certificate and my passport. I went and asked for the proper documents and had been waiting for them to come through the mail since it takes a few business days. I’ve mailed the consulate to make sure I had the right document this time so they could confirm. The agent actually messaged me back saying ONLY my passport was required after all, that the officer processing my case did not require a new police certificate after all, which had me very confused. I’ve sent my passport to them, and I was told 6-8 weeks waiting for the processing times. Does this mean my visa will be approved after all? Will they ask for my police certificate after a month? I plan on sending the document soon as I get it anyways even though it isn’t required anymore just for a piece of mind. Anyone else had that happened?
