I'm planning to submit n-400 on 5 years basis. After GC I was away from the country more than two years and and was on re-entry permit. After returning permanently, I lived 5 yrs without discontinuity.  Do I need to submit all tax transcripts since I got GC or just the last 5 years transcript? I filed tax since I got GC, however IRS website does not show free downloadable transcripts way before 5 years. I have tax returns from my accountant. Will that be enough while submitting application?

N-400 document checklist says: If someone is away after GC more than 6 months, he/she has to prove tie: such as last five years of tax return.

Not sure if I have to submit more than 5 years to show as proof of tie while I was away with re-entry permit or just last 5 years? Please advise. Thanks

To be clear: Have you been outside the US more than 6 months at a time in the last 5 years? If not, you don't really need tax transcripts at all.
