family Court wavier ?

Hello everyone,

did not feel that I was able to file my K1 petion on my own, so I retained a lawyer. My question is I have a civil Family court fact finding hearing from 1991, pertaning to child neglect and sexual child abuse, to make a long story short, me and My wife were separated at the time and Both my 4 year old son and 10 year old daughter wanted to stay and live with me. my wife of who I was separated from had called into child services Complaining that she feels I have done something to our daughter, so they took my daughter from me and left my son living with me, now here where the story gets better I never admitted to any thing in court so the Judge determined that the court would send me to 3 counsiling sesstions, After the third Session the counseler felt that nothing happned and she would suggest to the court for full family counsling. and that is what we all did a year later we were all reunited as a family and lived together until 2004, and that was when I filed for divorce... The women that I'm engaged to Knows the past, I even translated the court documents into spanish so she could read them , I have not a thing to hide..And she is Ok with it, The lawyer feels that do to the Adam Walsh Law my K1 and both K2 visa would be almost Imposibile to obtain, he said we could inclued a wavier, and i write a letter saying why my visa should be approved, But he said it will be a miricle if it was approved....... I guess at this point what are my choices ? will a CR1 be better ? Or do I just give My american life up and move to her Country and start my life over... I'm not listed on any sex offender registery, I own my own home, the same job for years , active in my Community..I very much adore My Fiancee and her 2 girls, I'm confused as to what to do ?

1st, I SURE hope everything works out and its good to see you are willing to move there if it can't. Head over to the waiver forum and see if anyone over there knows anything. Is your lawyer familiar with waivers of this sort? If not, look around and see if you can find someone more familiar with your type of situation. Good luck and sorry I cant offer any advice.
