I-751 & Biometric Service

Hello,

Please help me with my case.

I submitted my I-751 in October 2017. USICS did not schedule me for a biometric service. I had to request them twice and I did not get my biometric service done until May 2018. I just realized that USCIS would not process a case until biometric service is done. Does it mean I have to wait extra 7 months on top of the normal processing time (Oct 17 - May 18)?

Also, when I checked my case status, it said case was transferred to local office in February 2017. But when I came to local office in 2018 and asked them, they said they did not have my application there, it was at California Service Center. Then I called USCIS but they didn't tell me where my application was. Anyone has the same situation or knows about it, please share your experience. Thank you so much.
