It means what it says.

 

Did you apply online? If so, the website will give you an estimate of how long the rest of the process will take. You can also search under the timeline tab on here and look at your local filing office to see how long it took for other people. I'm going through Cincinnati - the USCIS site says it will take until next November, but other people on here have had their interview through Cincy in 3-4 months.
