AOS from K1 - Names used

1 post in this topic

Hello all,

My fiancee is applying for AOS after entering with a K1 visa. For her K1 application, we input her name different from her passport, but rather with trying to comply with American standards of using father's last name.

So if her full name is Firstname Middlename Lastname,

Her passport (Brazil,), I-94, and DS-60 state her name as following:

Given names: Firstname

Surnames: Middlename Lastname

In her K1 application and the subsequent I-797 (which states her A number), her name was written as

First: Firstname

Middle: Middlename

Last: Lastname

Given that she was approved, has moved here with a K-1 (we got married but she didn't change her name) and now applying for AOS, what would be best recommended way to input her name in the name fields for form I-485, et al?

I appreciate any insight that somebody might have in the situation.
