So my parents are helping my wife and I I have sent the following message to my dad in order to help us make sure that the packet he is finishing off will match the packet my wife will take to the interview. Opinions or general suggestions welcome...

"Ok.  I think I have the docs finished now.  I will attach them below.  Some basic info I have picked up over the last week or so.  We will use 4 manila folders.  One for Cuc's docs, one for mine, one for mama's and one for yours.  These four folder will be placed into one shipping envelope.

Folder 1(On the outside of folder write "IV"....means Immigrant Visa) - Cuc's documents
-Bar coded document cover Sheet
-Cuc's passport
-Birth cert with translation(take out staple please)
-marriage cert w/ translation(remove staple)
-criminal record check(remove staple)

Folder 2 - Travis docs(on folder write "AOS Petitioner"
-Personal cover letter explain doc submitted in detail(I will attach to this email also)
-i864 form(signed and dated) .
-passport copy
-driver's license copy
-birth certificate copy
-contract from school
-certificate of payment
-federal tax return(2017)
-tax transcripts(2016-2015)
-proof of assets(IRA i529, roth ira statements, land deed)
-Capital One statements, Sharonview statements, SunTrust(Highlight billing dates)(domicle)
-teaching licenses photocopy along with printout showing steps taken to transfer from Florida to SC(I'll send this with the cover letters tomorrow.)

Folder 3 - Mama's (Write AOS  Joint Sponsor)
-Personal cover letter(I will attach to this email also)
-Bar coded document cover Sheet (Page 3 of the avif applicant letter..i'll attach)
-i864 form(signed and dated)
-passport copy
-driver's license copy
-birth certificate copy
-certificate of payment(check stubs from last six months)
-w2s, 1099s, schedules(not sure if mama had 1099s or schedules
-federal tax return(2017)
-Social Security Earning statements
-any other supporting docs( probably nothing)

Folder 4 - Daddy's (Write AOS  i864a together with Vicki Brown's i864)
-Personal cover letter(I will attach to this email also)
-Bar coded document cover Sheet (Page 3 of the avif applicant letter..i'll attach)
-i864a form(signed and dated by both of you...mama is sponsor, dad is household member)
-passport copy
-driver's license copy
-birth certificate copy
-certificate of payment(my dad is a self employed consultant, can his billing invoice be used as proof on income)
-w2s, 1099s, schedules
-federal tax return(2017)
-Social Security Earning statements
-any other supporting docs( probably nothing)

Another suggestion that was made to me was to write the case number at the top of each document EXCEPT the bar coded cover letter.  I know that is going to be repetitive but it is strongly advised in case a document gets misplaced.  Our case number is :HCM#$#$#$#$#"    END MESSAGE

A few questions on top of this.  As of now I intend to submit the bar coded cover sheet with all AOS packets, so three total.  My dad has asked if he can print out sticky labels to add the case number to the top right hand corner instead of handwriting it.  he just feels more comfortable doing it that way as to not accidentally mis-write the case number.
