Im still impatiently waiting for an interview date, and I know i'll be waiting a while still, as I didnt send P3 back until the 7th but good luck to everyone with their upcoming interviews!

There seems to be a couple of people who sent back Packet 3 and their decleration on May 31st. I posted mine June 1st so surely it can't be long... Called the DOS visa info line yesterday but no news.

You will be fine - I know thats easy to say it but now that I have had my interview its not as bad as I thought it would be - , but yet I still couldnt stop worrying.

I dont know if I mentioned this somewhere or others may have - I was stressing big time when i was given the date - I panicked about everything especially if we had enough proof to show that this is a legitimate relationship - I took photos placed in 2 albums - I took copied for the engagment cards 2 friends gave us - I got his mum to write to me via email, i even had to push my David to write a hand written letter - you know anyone can fake an email letter lol finally armed with everything and still panicking its not enough - at the interview the girl that was seeing me (oh btw if any of you get her I think she was in window 16, a young indian girl american speaking long straight hair - well she is miserable:( ). I read so many ppl's feedback on here and they all say ohh the guy that saw us was so jolly and reassured us when we were anxious - well if you get her - then be prepared not to be reassured - everso miserable she was. I dont think I got one smile from her. Anyways - she didnt want to see any of the proof at all then she askes me how do you know you want to marry him if you have only been with him physically for 5/6 months? to which i said Ive known him 5 years we talk mainly every day and I love him. she typed away and that was that... umm would of thought she would like to see some sort of proof that I have met this person. OH well

Basically take everything you need and be prepared not to show any of it - I tell ya I had a very sore shoulder as my bag was so heavy and it was all for nothing:(

Just an FYI for those of you talking about Disco (my SO) - after reading through the thread perhaps I should clarify:

As per my siggy timeline I mailed the Packet 3 forms back on the 5th May (DOS confirmed they were recieved on the 9th) but I couldn't include the checklist as I was paranoid about not having my Police certificate in time. Well Scotland Yard took as long as humanly possible with that (39 days) so I only got the checklist sent off on 1st June. But I have had my medical done and no RFEs so... (goes to check post again)

I will have to see if this might be the same gal Tim had last year. He generally likes everyone or can at least tolerate them. His comment about his interviewer is that she was "a right b*tch".

LOL well this one could be called that although I try to refrain from using words like that myself lol (NOT!) she was looking at me like I was stupid or something really strange - I felt like saying come-on how many visa applications do you have come by hear that the couple have met online I mean come -on get agrip woman!! My dave said if he was asked that he would answer back with a silly question like well if you are married how did you know you wanted to marry your partner - doh silly question. lol
