We had our interview in March 2007. I was not approved due to FBI name check not being cleared.

My son was approved and we received his Green Card, but there was a mistake on his birthday date.

I filled the I-90, prepared an explanatory letter and sent the card back with supporting information to the National Benefits Center. I did that at the beggining of April and never received any notice. I called the Customer Service line and they told me that I should not receive a notice for that. That the card will be issued and deliver to my address.

Has anyone gone thru that? Is that right? How long may it take to get a new card?

My son has a stamp on his passport with the approval, will that serve to get his SSN or there will be a problem because the different dates of birth between the passport and the one that may be on the USCIS system?

Thank you

Thank you.

Just an update, today I received a letter from the National Benefits Center, saying that they received and reviewed the application for a new card and verified that the old card was issued with incorrect information due to USCIS administrative error. The new card will be arriving in 2-3 weeks.

The request for the new card was received at the NBC on April 16, 07.
