OK - K1 VISA MTL interview THIS MONDAY

can you guys take a look and make sure I have everything needed for my K1 interview. ok, here is the list.

1. me (haha)

2. my valid passport

3. my DS-156 (filed out online and printed out of course)

4. five identical photographs (USA passport style)

5. medical examination (with big xray envelope and sealed brown envelope)

6. long birth certificate

7. I-134 Affidavit of Support from my FI with supporting documents

8. DS-156K

9. police certificate

10. $100 us dollars.

11. letter from FI indicating that he still wants to marry me.

The following do not apply to me: court/prison records, military records, divorce/death certs and documents for accompanying children.

some of you have mentioned bringing photos and other further evidence. is this neccesary? i can't imagine it would hurt.

thanks guys ... i've save a few threads to look at as well .. but thought i'd still post my stuff.

You also forgot to pack your smile tee hee

We brought letters, phone records & Pictures, but our interviewer never asked to see them.

i do plan on bringing some photos, etc ... i have them so why not?

That's my thinking as well better safe than sorry.. are you using an accordian file folder & not taking cell phone and garganutian bag etc?

...sometimes it's what you don't take that really matters

i just plan on arriving with all necessary items in a clear file folder. that's it .. no bag, purse, electronic device, etc. just me and my clear folder! lol. i do plan on having photocopies of everything as well ... OH YES .. and the Xpresspost mailer!

bring the thickest skin you have in your closet and dont try to be helpful with security

make sure u have the signature sticker for your envelope.....and yeah write the tracking number down.
