Hey guys,

My PD is 2/9/2017 (marriage to USC) and I had my interview 12/19/17. After the interview, we got a letter about being held for further review. On 1/18/18, I received the following email:

"There has been a recent processing action taken on your case.

Receipt Number: MSCXXXXXXXXXX

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On January 16, 2018, we mailed your document for Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX, directly to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your document by February 15, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request the document be sent to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole)."

At first, my attorney and I thought the case had been approved. Pretty self-explanatory email, right? Since our interview appointment letter was never received, as it was returned to USCIS as undeliverable even though the address on file is correct (thank God our attorney did receive a copy), I decided to call today to make sure the card/document they said they were mailing in the email hadn't been returned, or to see if there was a tracking number. After speaking to a tier 2 level officer, he told me the email was an ERROR!!!! Say whaaaaat?!?! He said it was a mistake and that nothing was mailed out nor any decision on the case yet. He said he was putting in a Service Request, which would take 2 weeks, but that he currently didn't see any action being taken.

Has anyone been through this before?
