I had my interview at the Montreal Consulate on November 24/2017.

I had my Medical at Medysis on November 17/2017.

received an email from Medysis telling me they had forwarded my medical to the consulate directly and that I would not have to pick it up.

When I arrived to the Interview, my medical was NOT there!  Here is my dillema.... I was issued a 221 (g) for missing documents.  One doucment missing was my original Marriage Certificate  (which I do have now) and the other was the Medical. So my concern is this:  It states that ALL documents must be sent to the consulate together.  I don't have the medical....Medysis said they sent it, and gave me a confirmation.

Its immpossible to speak to a Human at the consulate to find out what to do in this sitution. ( have sent an email to montreal-acs@state.gov and also to  montreal-iv-dv@state.gov with no replies yet)

Has anyone had a similar situation?  Please offer me suggestions?  I'm losing my mind with this process?  Tell me there is an end to this ridicullously long process...... HELP!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you're having. I have tried to reach someone at the Montreal consulate before and agree it is very frustrating.

I have never heard of Medisys sending things directly to the consulate. I had my interview in September 2017 and still had to pick my results up and bring them with me, so having the report sent directly to the consulate must be very new.

This isn't based on any personal experience but, if I were you, I think I would request that Medisys mail or FAX me a copy of my medical report ASAP. I'd mail it to the consulate along with a written explanation of what happened and a copy of the confirmation from Medisys saying they sent the original directly to the consulate.

I was part of a pilot project with the Montreal consulate and it seemed that communication regarding it left a bit to be desired. If Medisys sending the medical report directly to the consulate is a new procedure, I think it's possible that the consular officers were not all up to speed on the change.

Thanks for the reply.... I just received a message from MTL Consulate.  They confirmed receipt of my Medical.  THANK GOODNESS!!!!

Yes,  I think this is a new process.  My case is also a pivot case.  I was informed by Medysis, they had specific instructions to send my Medical Exam directly to Consulate, even though I had arranged to pick it up.  It's all good.  Now the waiting continues..... :-)
