Good evening! I am adjusting my status from K1 visa. I received an RFE from USCIS asking for my income tax return but I just arrived here in the US last November 2016 and got married January 2017 so I haven’t really worked since I got here and still no job until now. When my wife(the petitioner) filed her ITR for 2016, she added me on it but I was told that she should have not added me since we got married January 2017 so now she needs to make an amendment for her ITR. But the problem is we need to send the requested documents by January 2018 and we are running out of time. Any suggestions? Can I just write a letter to the USCIS and include it when I send my RFE? Please help :clock::help:
