Hello everyone. So my mom submitted her n-400 form in late August 2017. She did her biometrics in early October 2017. Today (11/25/17) I went through her N-400 form and found out that there's an error in my sister's birthday. (Month and date are incorrect) I checked the status online and it states "Case Is In Line For An Interview". What should I do next? Is it an big problem? Will they deny the case?

Thank You In Advance

Biometrics in Oct. usually there are waiting period ranging from months to a year before interview is assigned. "In line for interview" means it's processing the background check before interview is scheduled.

Any error you made in the form and supporting documents can be pointed out and corrected during the interview scene. Your mom should go through every piece of information on the form and supporting documents.

 H1b ---> EB-1A (I-140) ---> I-485 AOS(Green Card) ---> 5 years --->  US Citizenship N400 application

  • Day 011/16/2017, e-filing N400
  • Day 3069/18/2018,  interview day--passed and in line for oath.
  • Day 332: 10/15/2018, Oath Day

Thank You for replying quickly. So she should wait till get the interview date and don't do anything? What do you mean by supporting documents?

My main question is will they deny her case?

Thank You Again.
