Writing my Fiancee's name and address in her native alphabet...

For her "number and street", should I write

ул. Заслонова, 20-18

or

Заслонова, 20-18

or

20 Заслонова ул. #18 or something silly like that.....

and for "Town or City" should it be

г. Альметьевск

or

Альметьевск

?

Well I don't want to switch over to cyrillic... but my fiance wrote her address similar to this:

KB 49, 20 Mira

As for the town I am not sure.

K1 Visa Process long ago and far away...

02/09/06 - NOA1 date

12/17/06 - Married!

AOS Process a fading memory...

01/31/07 - Mailed AOS/EAD package for Olga and Anya

06/01/07 - Green card arrived in mail

Removing Conditions

03/02/09 - Mailed I-751 package (CSC)

03/06/09 - Check cashed

03/10/09 - Recieved Olga's NOA1

03/28/09 - Olga did biometrics

05/11/09 - Anya recieved NOA1 (took a call to USCIS to take care of it, oddly, they were helpful)

You can write it many ways.

The general trend is:

Россия

12345 (put zip code here)

г. Альметьевск

Here is where you have options

You can do:

ул. Заслонова, 20-18

or

20 Заслонова кв 18

or

20 Заслонова дX(if there is a complex of buildings), кв 18

But generally all of your combinations will work. But I'd stick with "ул." part which means street just in case there is a similar переулок or Тракт with the same address somewhere else in the city.

It shouldn't really matter how you write it in that space on the I-129, just so the embassy or whoever else knows what her address is. The main thing that is important is that whatever you list as her address matches up with what is on her G-325A. It doesn't have to be exact, but the numbers and street names should match up enough that someone who can read Cyrillic would be able to tell. (Remember, Roman character readers have no idea what the little funny letters mean anyway!)

Don't forget they will use the address you give for her to send her packet 3. It is better to get it as close as you can. I think some of those formats could confuse them. I would put the Ulitsa part on but it would probably get there anyway.

the correct format is

ул. Заслонова, 20-18

That is the street, the building, the apartment. You might confuse them with anything else.

That's the format I used. Everything finally dropped in the mail Thursday morning. Fingers crossed!
