Hi! I wanted to ask-I have my driver's license that is not expired yet just has my maiden name before I got married in June this year, now I have a new last name. Can I still use it till would get American driver's license? If not-can I get driver's license with work persmission, EAD card that I will get soon or I have to wait for a green card? :( Also, can I start to study with that EAD card and social security number that I have or have to wait for green card? Could I receive discounted study tuition based on my husband's lower income, as he is also studying or only when receive a green card? How soon do you think green card would come after getting EAD and advance parole?

Depending on the state, but you should be able to get a drivers' license with your EAD. If your current license is still valid, I think you can probably still use it but I'd still get a new one once you get your EAD.

my GC came a month after getting EAD/AP but it really depends on how busy your field office is (if you need to do an interview).

As for studying on EAD, I'd contact the school (international office perhaps) and ask as policies are different per school.
