Hi All!

My wife and I are getting very close to filing, and it seems like the last 10% is taking as much time as the first 90%.. My wife is a Canadian citizen, and just graduated in May.  She currently has a Post-Completion OPT, and my question is, what is her "Current Immigration Status"?  Is the answer just Post-Completion OPT?

Thank you kindly :)

Her Immigration status is F1, OPT and Post Completion OPT falls under the F1 Student status.

Thanks sweetadams.  So just to be clear, even though she is no longer a student, her status is still F-1 Student?

Yes, her OPT is an extension of her student status....So technically she is still a student till it expires.
