I am new to this forum although I have been reading it for the last couple of yeas. I have managed to navigate my way through the immigration nightmare thanks to this forum and would welcome any thoughts on my case.

My daughter is a us citizen and is sponsoring me for IR5 visa. My case was received on 1-12-2016 at the NVC. I had been checking the status on the ceac website. I checked on 3-23-2016 and got the 3 N/A s and assumed this meant that case was complete. I then received 2 emails from nvc 1 for my daughters attention and 1 for my attention. The email for my daughter asked her to fill in another I864 form because the size of household was incorrect. The email sent for my attention stated that her income did not meet the required level. My daughter has recently had a baby and her husband is in the military and is currently deployed in the middle east. Looking at the I864 form this means that including me the household size is 4. She has only used her income to sponsor me and it seems strange that her husband counts as member of hosehold but his salary is not taken in to account. Can somebody please clarify. Additionally both emails state that I can bring corrected form and if required co sponsor I864 to the interview in London. What is actually required tax transcripts, W2 efc. NVC have stated that they will still schedule interview meaning that the timeframe is very small.

NVC instructions are pretty vague and I would greatly appreciate any input from the forum.

Her husband can fill in the I-864A so that his income can be counted as part of her household income.

A tax return transcript is the easiest proof of income. These can now be accessed at the IRS website instantaneously, your daughter will just have to sign up. Assuming they filed married filing jointly then that will be all they need. The alternative is a copy of their tax return plus all the supporting documentation that went along with the return: so W2s etcetc.

Thank you for your response JoannaV. After giving your advice some thought I think a co sponsor is the best option. I will ask a friend of mine to assist. Do you think my daughter will have to fill out another I864 because her house size should have been 4 not 3.  I only ask this question because my co sponsor earns well above the poverty guideline and thus household size is irrelevant.
