I received my green card in February 2007, six weeks from filing AOS, which was an incredibly short timeline. Unfortunately, my birthdate was printed incorrectly and I had to complete an I-90 and return the card (fault of USCIS). I was told that the I-90 can take up to a year to process, but lo and behold I receive the card in the mail today, after filing the I-90 in the second week of March 2007. I called USCIS 2 weeks ago to advise of a change of address, yet the card was still sent to my previous address. USCIS made it very clear to me that green cards cannot be delivered under any circumstances by means of forwarded mail but yet I still receive it at my new address !! Anyway, I logged into my email account earlier today and found a touch from USCIS on my original AOS application to say I have been transferred to CSC for processing.

I just don't understand what is going on there, but glad its over for 2 years !

:lol: Seems they're confused there. Glad to know your GC is there though.

Dunno about this whole fowarding thing, the envelope with the GC is pretty plain.
