Hi all,

I have applied for AOS in October 2016 based on the dates in chart B of the visa bulletin. I got the approval of my EAD and AP this week. My category is fb1 unmarried sons of USC. I am expecting (hoping) that my PD will be current in July or august. I have two questions, I hope i can get help with;

  1. will there be an interview for this category, since I have heard that the USCIS sometimes wave the interview for certain categories?
  2. From what I gathered online that the average wait time for the GC are six to seven months. is that time calculated from the date of applying the AOS package or the date my PD is currant?Thanks
