Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has a direct number to call the US embassy in London.  All I am getting is an automated answer machine.  I need to contact them because my husband sent the I-130 petition to the US embassy in London early November.  We are living in the UK so was advised to send the petition there.  I have confirmation from the Royal Mail that it was received into the post room on 14th November.  We sent a money order from moneygram.  They have confirmed that the moneyorder was cashed on 18th November.  We have not received an acknowledgement or receipt number.  I contacted a helpline for military applicants who confirmed that there is no record of our application.  When we pointed out that the payment has been taken they said that there is nothing more they can do to help.  So we are in a limbo.  We can't go down to the embassy because we live a few hours away and can't get time off work.  Can anyone advise what we could do or have a number that we can call please?

Thank you
