Hi,

My spouse is the co-sponsor for my parents IR5 application and we have just got the the part where i have assigned an agent (myself).

My spouse is looking for a new job and he will always make more than the required amount and there won't be more than a couple weeks gap in employment.

Anyone have any idea what the rules are?

I will definitely file the affidavit under his current job but chances are he will have a new job before my parents get to the interview stage.

Do i have to inform the NVC or Embassy of the job change?

thanks

Your parents should bring a supporting letter from the new employer describing the nature of the job, when he was hired, salary and for how long he is going to be employed at that company. Your parents will have this letter with them, just in case and they will show it to the consular officer in case it will be needed under the circumstances.

This is not a legal advice and you should not seek one here, but from an immigration attorney.
