Hi. My wife had her cr-1 interview a month ago and was given blue slip "221g" for additional relationship evidence such as timeline etc. 2week after she went to the embassy to turn it in and wait for 4hrs and was given another blue slip "ur case requires additional necessary administrative processing " no additional doc needed. We were so frustrated and couldn't understand why. My wife just now found out that her elder sister in US has file a family petition for her whole family a few years ago and did not tell her. Is there still any chances of approval? What should we do? Thank you soo much for taking ur time to read my message!

Be patience. Wait for AP to be completed. The paperwork was just turned in 2 weeks ago. Give it 30 days.

The petition by the older sister has no bearing on your case.

No one can tell you what your chances are. Be aware that the there is lots of marriage fraud in Vietnam and the US Consulate is doing its job. You can check out all the "I can't believe the US let my scamming spouse into the US and will not help me deport him/her" threads.

Have patience. That's all you can do, and don't blame the sister (you seriously do not want to go there with a Vietnamese family because you will eventually get ganged up on).

Sigh...yes indeed Vietnamese fam! I did asked her why didn't she tell me about the f4 petition she say she did it years ago and almost forget about it and thought it wouldn't affect anything on my cr1 case. I heard some people say tgat u can not apply for two different type of visa at once. It's an automatic denial. this AP black hole is killing me. They can investigate and do whatever since we r real we dun care but it's just the no timing limit on this AP process is killing me. I heard that most of tge time AP case chances of approval is alot lower than normal cases. I'm wondering if I should just cancel this cr1 petition and ask her sis to withdraw her from the f4 then I can start to file the cr1 petition over. Or is it better for me to just wait for the AP over?

A beneficiary can have multiple petitions. Whoever told you that a beneficiary can not have two petitions and that it's an automatic denial have no idea what they are talking about. Your fear about this is completely unfounded.

It would be incredibly stupid to cancel the CR1 or withdraw the F4. It would be stupid to start over because a case is in AP. Starting over does not eliminate the need for AP. You would only be setting yourself for getting in back of the line for no good reason.
