Question for AOS

Hi. I got my AOS interview coming soon. I have a couple of questions. I entered the United States with tourist visa, which I did with the right purpose to visit. Then our relationship turned romantic and we got married.

1) My husband and I sold our home, so we've been living at his brother's second home in Leeds at the moment because we can't make any big decision until the interview. We have a notarised letter from his brother to prove that. Is that sufficient?

2) I understand we need to have joint documents to prove bona fide marriage(which we definitely are in good faith marriage) We don't have joint bank account. I am his life insurance beneficiary, we are planning to apply for a joint membership for Costco and I am in this company bank account. Is that sufficient?

It is understood that if a couple lives apart they may not have much "joint" evidence. How long have the 2 of you been living at the brother's home?

Thank you for the response. We've only been married for 4 months, so it's really hard to have enough joint assets together. We contacted an insurance agent and she said I will need to have SSN in order to get health insurance so we are not able to do that.

I'd agree. 4 months is not that long a time. I think you'll be fine.

You can also provide:

- airfare/hotel receipts from trips you two took together

- photos from wedding, vacations, daily life, family holidays, birthdays, etc.

- auto insurance policy with both your names

- you can add one another as additional cardholder to credit cards (very easy to do)

- phone call/Skype/IM correspondence between the two if you if you were ever long distance for a period of time

- proof that you two are on the same mobile phone plan

Thank you so much!! It definitely helps, but the thing is my husband own a company, so everything is in his company's name. I can't really find anything that will have our names together, except life insurance, Costco card and his company account. We do have pics of us travelling together!
