Hello All,

I wanted to know in case I receive my biometrics letter soon my green card and my divorce name now doesn't match ? That would be an issue ? Since I'm divorce now when I apply for my n400 I use my Divorve family name now my green card for 10 years now is my married name.

I travel outside the country using my Philippines passport on my birth name not match on my green card name I don't have problem to the immigration about it everytime I go back.

Any feedback or advise is appreciated.

Thank you

Won't be a problem. Your maiden name is now your legal married name and your divorce decree is the proof of name change (back to the maiden name) that you will present at your interview. Take the divorce decree to the biometrics interview, because they'll want to know why your biometrics notice doesn't match the name on your passport and state ID.

At the interview, the officer (if he knows what he's doing) should understand that your maiden name is now your legal name. In some cases, interviewers misinterpret USCIS's name change policies and he may ask you to fill out a formal name change request.
