Bom Dia

No, we never got any communication from the consulate. I did email them after waiting 3 weeks and they emailed back "We are in the final process"

and then about a week later the visas were issued.

Congratulations!! I'm glad everything worked out and that your step daughter is going to be able to get there on time for school.

My interview is this Friday, I'm a little nervous. I have a job to start on September 6th, so I can't really afford to go to AP. Hopefully everything will work out!

Thank you!

No, not at all. It was concerning to my divorce certificate, there was an issue with the registration (Averbação), long story short: figured out (after the interview was over!!! She said: Ok, we're all set, BUT :( ) it was only de consensual separation and I didn't have the official divorce decree, so i had to run like crazy but, thanks God, it ended up being quick, they received last Monday and issued my Visa today

Thanks for sharing! I'm happy everything worked out for you! I keep trying to figure out all the possibilities so I can be prepared for all possible RFEs.

Best,

Mics
