Health insurance with no work

Hello,

My husband and I have just recently moved from NJ to California and we are currently filing our application for health insurance through Covered California (we do meet the requirements to receive some sort of aid - which I understand is allowed, even as a K1 in the process of becoming a Permanent Resident). I have already sent in the AOS and I am waiting for my EAD to arrive.

As we just moved, my husband is still trying to find a job so while filing out the application it asks for the income of both;, I am unable to work and he does not have a job yet. This therefore results in 0 dollars as an income, which means that according to Covered California, we are only eligible for ObamaCare (at least until we start having a decent income). Am I allowed to get health insurance through ObamaCare?

My main concern is: Will we be breaching the restrictions of the K1 Visa process by accessing Healthcare through covered California? And to what extent can we be assisted (Tax Credits, etc)?
