Hello all, I am in a bit of a pickle.

I am getting ready to file the i-751 for my spouse. My family is currently overseas with me on government orders. I have a stateside address (my parents) where all my mail goes. I did not file a change of address with the USCIS because my stateside address is still my Home of Record and has been for years. From what I have read, I think I am in the wrong, but I can't find a definitive answer. On the i-751 I was going to list my mailing and physical address with my stateside address. However, part of the proof I was going to submit for my marriage was my orders which lists us in a foreign country. I don't know how to proceed here.

I was going to call the Military help line, but it's a holiday today. Thanks for any help or advice. I am really stressed about this.

You need to submit orders anyway, so it shows your spouse living outside US on military orders, so the time counts as being in US. I think since you are overseas it works differently with fingerprints, so you will probably will have to use your overseas address, but I am not sure. Hopefully the helpline can help you.
