I just needed some place to vent because this process is so frustrating. I am using a lwayer and I thought that they had filled out all of the paperwork for an address change for my I-130 and waiver but NOPE they didn't. I bought my own home last year, after a 2 year wait on a 3 year ban. When my husband called Vermont last week they told him that some paperwork they had mailed out to me was returned because I was no longer at that address. This is so frustrating because I really thought that my lawyer couldn't fu@k that up. We've been waiting so long and to hear something like this that an adress change has not been updated in the system is so wrong. If only I had found this site before we started the paperwork, we might have been saved so much frustration and grey hairs. I know I deserve some blame, for sticking with my current lawyer but we've sunk so much money into so far. I just had a hard time leaving them. I was unsure of myself and I thought that by using an immigration firm, my fears would be alieved. I could leave. Hindsight I should have dropped them long ago. So how does one go about getting Montreal and Vermont to do an address change?
