OK all, I really hope someone can help -

a couple of things:

1) Notification of readiness - is this still required? I found it on the London Embassy website but I saw nothing in any paperwork about filling this in. I have already completed the medical. The day after the medical I received an email saying:

"The Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy in London has concluded the processing of your visa application. The next step is to schedule an appointment for the visa interview. Appointments are scheduled online athttps://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv . You are required to register and follow the instructions for arranging the courier service and scheduling the appointment"

I believe this means they received my medical from the doctors.

2) Did anyone else notice they removed the online contact form for changing visa appointments? It's a direct link to the ais.usvisa website for scheduling. I am, however unable to change the interview date on this website - it shows the original date scheduled for me (which i subsequently rearranged via email).

I hope this makes enough sense for someone who knows to help!

The Readiness form is used by K1 and DCF applicants to inform the embassy they have all their documents in hand to submit at the interview. Since you were processed at NVC, they know your documents were submitted and checked. Your interview is assigned by NVC, so no need to schedule an appointment.

The contact form to reschedule interview still works https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/iv_contact_form/

Thanks Nich-Nick,

I'm going out of my mind here! haha!

2 weeks until interview day now, getting real! They replied with a date when I asked to reschedule, but no time! When I asked for a time, they said they'll arrange that after the medical, so I hope to be hearing any day now :)

Post in the UK forum asking May interviews--what time is your appointment?

They are usually mornings, but they had flipped to afternoon fairly recently. Did the same thing last summer for a couple of months. Not sure what they are doing in May. The time is not critical. You'll get in. Kinda first come first served really. Show for 8am or 1pm, depending on if they are doing mornings or afternoons this month.
