Hi,

Did this happen to anyone?

After waiting over 10 weeks for my card I have just found out from USCIS customer services that they have sent it on 02/18.

I should have received the green card by 02/20/2016. The tracking number says that the local postal service in Miami never delivered the envelope, and they have not updated the status of this delivery. They have not sent the envelope back to USCIS either. That means that somebody from the postal service took it.

Now I have to send a form I-90 to replace permanent green card with bunch of other document that I don´t know if I have a copy of them. Yesterday I found out from my neighbor that his mom and sister had the same issue. Why do people still your green cards? I am worried that now somebody can still my identity, go with that green card and request a copy of my social security card, get a loan… What can I do?

Yea...I have no idea why they send them without requiring a signature. Do you have to pay for the duplicate green card?
