Here is an Update for this post:

I called this morning, and they told me it's only a mistake. Some people are having the same issue and I should just ignore the second letter. For all of you who are having the same problem, this is my experience.

But If you want a peace of mind, give them a call and keep the first receipt from your fingerprint appointment.

Good luck everybody. And thanks for all the replies!

Which number did you call freebird? I called 1-800-375-5283 and selected the option as if I needed to reschedule my apppintment. They told me "there must be a reason, you need to go to your appointment", but she didn't sound sure of what she was talking about, I asked her what could the reason be and she said she had no idea, I asked if I could talk to someone that could see the status of my case, and she said she couldn't help me with that... she told me, I guess you could always stop by the office and ask... well then if I have the time to "stop by" why don't I just go to my appointment?! Ugh!

I plan on calling early morning tomorrow and see if I can get someone else with a definite answer.

Yes I called the same number 1-800-375-5283 and reached the customer service of my local office, The lady who talked to me asked me for my case number and then she checked, and told me to ignore the second letter, however sometimes the FBI can't read the fingerprints and they issue a second appointment. Try and give them a call and hopefully you will get help. If not, go to your appointment to be in the safe said, and let us know what happened.

Good luck to all.

Well, I called again today and received an answer with an actual explanation so I'm going with this one.

They said that if yiu receive a 2nd biometrics appintment within 40 days of the first appointment, then it's a mistake and yiu can ignore it. They said it would take a while for them to figure out that the prints did not work out for the FBI, so the notices would have to be at least 40 days apart.

I'm going with it. Good luck to you all!
