Hello all,

I have questions concerning my fiancés current status. We received the letter to make our appointment, but when he went to get his passport he was told that he had to get a new birth certificate and in the process discovered that his birth certificate had to be updated. We have been told that it will take at least 2 months to get straight. My question is how do I go about asking for an extension. His notice of approval is scheduled to expire February 6, 2016. It will be probably the end of February before we have things ready to go. Any help would be appreciated.
