Name change in date of birth certificate

Hi All,

I need some help regarding date of birth certificate

I am an Indian and in my date of birth certificate my name is different because my family used the nick name in there.also the information written like my name and parents name is in Hindi

However name in official documents is different

So does anyone know what shall be the solution of this problem or does anyone have faced issue like this

I not sure what certificate would be required which will be accepted by immigration and since it's been a long time so I can't change the name in date of birth certificate

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me

HI, I assume you have your original birthcertificate. You can only have this fixed in your country...That way, you get the legal right birthcertificate you want it used for your documents...

I would suggest that you get the name changed on your birth certificate and you will just have to wait it out.
