Does anyone here know how long is the wait for an interview at the Kingston embassy

Case completed since September 16 and still no appointment

- Moved from IR-1 Process to Caribbean regional subforum as query is country-specific -

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".

It is looking to be about 3-4 months from case complete for an interview.

Why is that some persons waiting on visa appointment at the same consulate as my spouse get interview dates before other persons even though their CC date came after ours? And secondly can you email or contact the embassy directly asking about the interview or that's not a good idea? It's a very frustrating wait. This CR1 process is way over a year now

Some were able to get their case expedited. In other instances, it may be due to arbitrary scheduling by the NVC.

You can e-mail the Embassy directly asking about the interview but that is not the proper channel. If you would like to request an earlier appointment then you would contact the National Visa Center.

One of the things I like about this site is the ability to get questions answered but also to share information. Please update your timeline. It is one way to give back to the very generous ones who give of their time to assist others.
