hi all,

i send out my pack through USPS priority mail on 11/4 from California.

but i send to the wrong address

USCIS
Attn: FBAS
131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor
Chicago, IL 60603-5517

and the USPS tracking now shows:

  • Your item was forwarded to a different address at 12:18 pm on November 6, 2015 in CHICAGO, IL. This was because of forwarding instructions or because the address or ZIP Code on the label was incorrect

im so worried now ...will this delay the application or the package is going to missing now ><

just wondering if all of you send to the PO box one if send thru USPS?

thank you

Yes, if you send your application via USPS the mailing address you should use is the Chicago lockbox:

USCIS
PO Box 805887
Chicago, IL 60680-4120

The address you used is intended for applications sent via Express and courier delivery.

I don't think you need to worry, though - it sounds like USCIS has instructed USPS to forward any mail addressed to FBAS to the Chicago lockbox. Your package may take an extra day to get to them because of the forwarding, but it hasn't been lost.

Eighteen years in the US and I still don't understand Velveeta, TV ads for prescription drugs, only getting 2 weeks paid vacation, or why anyone believes anything they see on Fox "News".
