I have been told on two separate occasions that our case is completely complete, including once today. However, I have received what is clearly a checklist two days ago. It doesn't ask for submission of anything, just to bring an additional cosponsor's i-864 to the interview.

Here's what I submitted with my i-864 (petitioner)

2014 tax return.. income 19,400 (AGI- line 22, 1040)

2013 tax return.. income 17550 (AGI- line 22, 1040)

2012 no personal tax return. i began a business and didn't make a profit.

it's just me and her. household of 2.

I submitted 4 different bank's checking accounts statements for the past 6 months.

Showing liquid cash assets which were around $38,000 6 months ago, but gradually increased to approximately $50,000 by the last 2 statements (August & September)

The lady I spoke with today, told me our case is complete and in que to be scheduled for interview at ISL. When I asked her about the weird checklist that I received she said no your case is most definitely complete. When I pressed on about the AoSupp she further looked into it and said as far as I see everything is complete. Your income was a little bit below but you have liquid assets which are more then sufficient to cover the difference. So, just to be extra sure, I asked her if I should disregard the notice from NVC. She said yes, as "the computer" (her word) was behaving strange lately and sending out unnecessary letters.

I'm just stressing out over this letter from the NVC. Should I arrange for a cosponsor anyway? Just to be on the safe side? What has people's experience been with AoS and the COs at Islamabad? Will they consider my assets or create an issue about it? What should I do? It will be a struggle arranging for a cosponsor... What to do?

Btw, our 3 NA situation occurred on Oct 28, at which point I called and got confirmation of cc. When can I expect to be notified of the interview date. I'd like to go and attend the interview with my wife.

Try to arrange for a co-sponsor just in case, but from my experience working for the government, it sounds like the letter was sent before your case was complete. There were many times a transaction hadn't posted and a letter was sent, causing much confusion.

A contingency plan is best, but try not to drive yourself crazy...at least not just yet. Just try to trust that it crossed in the mail with the CC, and focus on the next step.
