I am going to be an american soon and i am already proud of this. Here is my question fellows, ever since i started my journey, my biometrics were done at St. Louis, MO and AOS interview at Chicago,IL. i live in a remote area right at the border of IL/IA/MO (on IL side). USCIS says Des Moines,IA is my field office but like i said i have been instructed to st louis and chicago. mine is a general question out of curiosity and nothing that i am loosing my sleep over. why would USCIS do this ? i mean listing my Field office something and had me go to a different one. So, bottom line is i am not sure which is my field office ? and just recently when i went for my Biometrics regarding N400, i struck a conversation about this with the person who took my fingerprints.he chipped in that there is a possibility that might interview me in Springfield,IL. i was like really ? am i the only one who never had the address changed ever since i stepped on american soil and been to different USCIS offices for different things in spite of having Des moines listed as my official field office. i would appreciate any comments and insights regarding this jargon/confusion/mistake USCIS created (whatever we might want to call it).

Merci.
